The Picture you wont get, but Awkward Family Photos will, or, the Christmas Card Photo Dilemma

Family pictures are torture.  I don’t know how everyone else in America gets all their kids—babies included—to look and smile at the camera at the same time.  It’s one of the mysteries of the universe to me. 

As I fill out addresses  to the Christmas cards I’m sending out with the picture that was the most acceptable, I decided to share some pictures that, well, weren’t.  Not even close.  Terrible. 

Blinking, lecturing and complaining—I think the secret to a great family picture is threats of long-term pain.  Just saying--it worked for me. 

Having one family member who just loves posing for the camera is helpful.

This is the one I’m submitting to Awkward Family Photos.
